Location & access

The Oberoi, Lombok is an idyllic garden resort on Medana Beach, located on the island of Lombok (65 km due East of the island of Bali), in Nusa Tenggara Barat (N.T.B.) an Eastern province of Indonesia. The resort is 28 kilometers (17 miles) from the city center and 75 kilometers (2 hours drive to-fro) from the new Lombok International Airport (Bandara Internasional Lombok). Lombok is connected by several flights from some main cities in Indonesia and a direct flight from Singapore by Silk Air.
Set in 24 acres of private grounds, the hotel is a special getaway where you can indulge in the comfort of luxurious accommodation, with superb cuisine, and a caring conscientious staff.

By sea

The Oberoi, Lombok is approximately 65 kilometers across the straits of Lombok from the island of Bali. Private Boats and Yachts may moor directly in front of the resort at The Oberoi’s “Medana” Bay. Private Boat Charters can be arranged in Bali. Sailing time is 2-3 hours.
Lombok is connected to Bali’s Benoa Harbour with daily crossings operated by Blue Water Safari, with an open top 8 seat speedboat. Estimated time at sea is two hours, with direct access to The Oberoi, Lombok’s private jetty.
Lombok is also connected to Bali’s Padang Bai Harbour with daily crossings operated by Island Xpress, with the Gili Cat, a covered 16 seat speed catamaran. Estimated time at sea is one hour and twenty minutes, followed by a ten minute drive to The Oberoi, Lombok from the small harbour of Teluk Kode.

By road

An automobile may be rented near the airport. The drive from Mataram to The Oberoi, Lombok takes forty-five minutes.
As you turn left from the Selaparang Airport, Mataram and heading out of Mataram on the Pemenang road, it’s a couple of kilometer to Gunung Sari, the location of a vibrant, daily morning market selling every variety of produce and goods Lombok offers. From here the roads climbs up through the forest to the Pusuk Pass and hordes of native monkeys. Then it’s 10 kms down to the plains and the village of Pemenang. Roadside stalls sell tuak manis and durian. Just under 4 km from Pemenang, turn left and a side road leads to The Oberoi, Lombok.
